Speaker

·    Spends time prior to the meeting preparing for a speech to be delivered at the meeting;

·    Enters information on the Internet <here> (speech title, manual) for introduction by the Toastmaster;

·    Delivers a 5-7 minute speech (sometimes longer) from the Basic Communications and Leadership Program manual (or an Advanced Manual), based upon stated objectives of the speech.

Educational Speaker

·    Delivers a three minute speech on an educational topic directly related to Toastmasters or to public speaking in general.
